Experiencing the great outdoors doesn’t have to mean being uncomfortable thanks to Valley Views. With us, you'll experience glamorous camping at it's best in lotus belle tents and our completely new geodesic dome tents with king sized and luxury bedding. Nestled into the hillside of a beef cattle farm, you’ll enjoy incredible views and five star comfort, with a beautiful seven hectare forest as your backdrop.

Where Are We?

Valley Views Glamping is located approximately mid-way between Christchurch and Queenstown on the foothills of Mount Domett in the Waitaki Valley. We are close to the 'Alps to Ocean' cycle trail which runs from New Zealand's highest mountain, Aoraki/Mt Cook, to the Victorian town of Oamaru on the East Coast. Kurow, our nearest township is thirteen kilometres from our Valley Views Glamping site.

Our Facilities

At our eco-friendly 'glampsite' you can still enjoy your much loved creature comforts while staying among the hills. Solar energy powers our purpose-built lodge which has kitchen, dining and<br /> bathroom facilities. Immediately outside the lodge we have two<br /> outdoor dining areas and a communal fire-pit. A highlight of the lodge has proven to be the wonderful pot-belly fire which provides a wonderful ambience. And for a completely amazing experience there are four outdoor baths in our forest where you can relax in hot water and gaze at our extraordinary night sky. The site is designed thoughtfully with a focus on ongoing sustainable practices.

If I could give Amber and Patrick 10 million stars, I would. From flexibility with planning to the stay at this unique accommodation, we felt comfortable and treated so kindly. Amber made it possible for our group of four to come to her home where the family has set up an unbelievable glamping campsite with the perfect view. I actually teared up when she gave us a tour of our home for the next two days, and when it was over, we didn't want to leave. We felt like we had known the family for years and every last detail had been through of. We were able to rest and enjoy the peacefulness and beauty that their property has to offer. If you're lucky enough to stay here and meet these people, cherish every moment. The property and accommodation reflects the people: warm, unique, joyful, and peaceful. I am so grateful for our stay here and hope to stay in touch with amber and Patrick for a long time.
