The best experience in New Zealand! Without question, one of the best luxury hotel/Glamping experiences we've ever had and we've had our fair share. You realise the journey to Kurow is worth it the moment you turn off onto the hidden dirt road and follow the easy signs to this secret paradise. Amber and Patrick (and Jock the Border Collie) greet you with warmth and professionalism before guiding you to you private sanctuary (tent) filled with fairy lights, soft faux fur rugs, a bed that rivals any 5-star hotel and a view over the valley that takes your breath away. If you're in the mood for a warm outdoor bath under the stars you're in the right place. If not, just sit out on your private deck and watch the sun set. And then there's the complimentary breakfast! Patrick and Amber gather fresh eggs laid by their hens (that you can feed should you wish) accompanied by fresh bread, butter, hand made jams/marmalade and fabulous coffee! I'll be honest, it’s not easy to please us. Having worked on the luxury travel industry for over a decade, we can get picky. But I'd pick Valley Views Glamping 100 times over and recommend it to everyone i know. Hot tip: if you can afford it and it's available definitely book the Station Peak Dome. Trust me.

Well worth the very slight detour. We loved the domes, loved the eco lodge. It was more than what we expected - the whole place is an off grid, nature and environment loving getaway to appreciate beauty and just. relax. Amber and Patrick were both born with a gift for hospitality and you feel it down to the level of detail, from the interior decor to the percolated coffee in the morning. Our only regret is arriving just in time for the last bit of sunset instead of basking in the full glow in our epic dome tent. Thanks Amber and Patrick!

Cannot fault our stay at Valley Views whatsoever. We were greeted by Patrick and he was exceptionally helpful at showing us around and getting us settled in. The domes are amazing. The bed was super comfy and there was lots of nice touches inside the dome. We opted for the home cooked meal and it was really amazing. Not what you expect when you think of a camping meal! The outdoor baths in the forest were so good that we had one at night in the dark and one in the morning during sunrise. Amber and Patrick were so attentive and friendly and are clearly very passionate about what they do. I would return in a heartbeat.

We loved everything about this experience and found Amber and Patrick absolutely sincere in sharing what they have lovingly created. We were doing the Alps2Ocean bike ride so the pick up and transfer back to the winery was wonderful. It’s a perfect place to stay for riders - keeping the outdoors experience with the touch of luxury. The rustic bath tubs among the trees with the beautiful valley view are terrific for tired muscles.

Amber and Patrick are wonderful hosts - and have created an amazing glamping experience. Highly recommend staying at least one night including dinner - it broke the journey between Queenstown and Christchurch perfectly. Stunning views; gorgeous tents, delicious food! What they have created for others is truly inspiring- thank you!

We had an incredible stay here in one of the geodesic domes. We have done a bit of glamping around NZ but this was by far the most comfortable stay. The dome was insulated with beautiful views. The owners have thought of all the creature comforts you may need. Plus the bath in the forest is magical!

This is an experience everyone should have at least once in their lifetime. An opportunity to experience the peaceful and serene Waitaki Valley from a stunning vantage point. Rain, stars, wind, and the peace are just perfect when experienced from the inside of the luxurious geodesic domes at Valley Views Glamping. Arrive early, (after 15:00) to experience the views, the outdoor private bathtubs and the forest area. The lodge has a cozy potbelly stove. Great for warming oneself on those brisk days. Specialty teas and coffee are supplied, along with a plentiful breakfast. Don't forget to try the farm fresh eggs. One night is definitely not enough... Gracious hosts make you feel welcome and a valued guest.....it's all just fabulous"

Amazing rooms, amazing views, and amazing location. My expectations were blown with the amazing hospitality and how well maintained everything was. Owners should be proud of what they made. Hope to return again one day.

If you are staying in the South Island, Valley View Glamping is a MUST. Beautiful view, excellent service from Patrick and Amber, they helped us to have a relaxing experience. Also they care about my GF diet and served us a tasty breakfast. The dome and kitchen were 10/10 nicely equipped and comfortable. Don’t skip the bath tubs, they worth every second.

We absolutely loved our stay at Valley Views Glamping and so glad we made the detour on our trip through New Zealand to visit this lovely spot. We stayed in a geodesic dome tent for one night only (sadly!). This is a truly family run, independent business and you can feel the love and pleasure that has gone into this blissful glamping campsite. Comfy beds, modern amenities, amazing local food and wine and the friendliest hosts. The hosts also offer a number of activities during you stay including horse riding, fishing and massages. Bliss! We had a wonderful stay and felt truly relaxed after only one night - the al fresco baths definitely helped :). Have recommended to everyone and would always visit again!
